My client is a Payments company with Series E its latest round of funding. They have been recently acquired by a large Fintech conglomerate and as part of the acquisition, they are well-positioned to expand their Business Development team with multiple headcounts.
What You Will Be Doing
Identify, pursue, and secure strategic partnerships in the merchant acquiring space.
Lead discussions with potential clients, emphasizing the payment technology solutions' value proposition.
Understand the specific needs of potential clients and tailor presentations and proposals accordingly.
Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closure, ensuring that targets are consistently met or exceeded.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding for new merchants.
Collaborate with the customer support and technical teams to ensure that client requirements are adequately met and service standards maintained.
What You Should Have
At least 5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development within the Payments / E-Payments space.
A robust network within the payment technology and merchant acquiring space.
Proven track record of successfully securing large-scale deals and partnerships.
Ability to thrive in a team environment, fostering a spirit of collaboration.
Enabling effective communication with clients.
Base salary ranges from SGD8,000 - SGD12,000/month, depending on experiences.
