**Core Responsibilities**

Phase one:

- Spearhead project team towards on time go-live of Vietnam Regional Distribution Center (VN RDC). Establishing VN RDC is part of our expanding distribution footprint supporting APAC & China development and resilience
- Motivate the project team to achieve the optimal RDC solution for the LEGO Group, drive SteerCo to aligned decisions, manage broad internal stakeholder network, and lead 3PL operations engagement
- Active influencer in regional supply chain transformation programmed where establish VN RDC is the center piece
- Transition the project into actual implementation with daily operations and execution

Phase two:

- Take full ownership and drive best-in-class operations excellence for short, mid and long-term logistics challenges and warehouse solutions
- Proactively manage performance via Distribution metrics such as, though not limited to; Capacity management (storage, inbound/outbound throughput, value-added services required serving markets), Inbound on time, Outbound on time and distribution costs vs. budget
- Provide strong governance and actively lead gap closure towards our appointed 3PL, ensuring performance vs. service level agreement and in line with LEGO Group standards
- Partner with Procurement team to ensure supplier service meets business requirements and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Provide regular feedback on how 3PL is performing vs service level agreement and suggestions for improvements of supplier partnership
- Role model local/regional/global collaboration across The LEGO Group and actively engage stakeholders such as Manufacturing sites, Supply & Inventory Planning, Supply Chain Development, Transportation, Local Distribution managers, Import/Export, Finance to meet service, cost, and inventory objectives for the region.

- The newly created role is part of APAC & China Distribution team which is responsible for bringing products from manufacturing sites to the hands of shoppers and children. The role is responsible for VN RDC implementation and seamless integration in the regional supply chain network. Pivotal by bringing product to market faster and more responsive to enable business growth strategy. This role will report to the Snr Director, APAC & China Distribution.

**Do you have what it takes?**
- Preferably with Engineering or Operations and Supply Chain Management background
- Certification in LEAN thinking or Six Sigma methodology, and Project management would be a plus
- Min 10 years experience with APAC & China supply chain management
- Min 5 years experience working with Logistics & Distribution for leading FMCG/Consumer Goods/Luxury brands
- Past experience demonstrating success in project management
- Demonstrated knowledge in managing regional Distribution operations, proven experience in managing 3PL’s and complex stakeholder environment
- Passion for delivering results through teamwork and collaboration, with strong communication and leadership skills
- Proven track record in managing senior level stakeholders at local/regional/global level, working in a diverse and multi-functional environment
- Team oriented, possesses good interpersonal and communication skills and strong personal drive to manage assigned responsibilities independently
- Strong problem solving skills, root cause analysis, and strong presentation skills
- Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills with colleagues and stakeholders
- Thrives in an organization under continuous development and significant growth
- Self-driven and proactive character, taking ownership and leading own area forward
- Capable to impact the organization broadly by own initiative
- Advanced English
