**Purpose of the role**:
As the Senior HR Manager (Head of People & Capability, Asia) you will act as a business partner to the Executive Leadership Team, leading the Asia People & Capability team of 3, ensuring consistency of approach in talent, compensation and benefits, organisational design, training and HR Operations.

A highly visible and strategic role, you will be a key business partner to the APAC management team in aligning HR objectives with business goals and growth.

This is a very hands-on role, requiring ongoing learning and development of the team and drive service delivery and implementation of HR initiatives.

This role is a hybrid model which can be home-based but will need to be frequently on-site in one of our offices (Singapore).

Local/international travel may be required from time to time.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Strategic Contribution**
- Develop a strategic approach to human resources and the execution of these strategies.
- Project management of key HR initiatives
- Lead and support organizational structure and change management in line with business needs of the Executive Leadership Team
- Develop appropriate policies and standards to ensure effective, fair and equitable management of employees throughout the organisation
- Lead internal HR audits in line with market regulations and best practice
- Support external audits with accurate information, and data evidence
- Undertake regular communications with both the Operational and Executive Leadership team on changes in local employment legislation and implications on the business and employees.

**Operational Contribution**
- Accountable for the leadership of the People & Capability Team and service provision in the region
- Build HR centres of excellence within the region and engage in an ongoing development/mentorship programme for the team.
- Building a robust training and compliance module in consultation with Executive leadership team
- Lead Talent Management and Retention program through performance management and rewards initiatives. This includes mapping employee learning and development as well as identification of future skills in line with business needs and organizational objectives.
- Be a trusted advisor and provide support on all matters relating to compensation & benefits, employment law, organisational design, development, policy and best practice.
- Review and maintain of policies and procedures across all markets; adhering to local nuances in local employment legislation and associated regulations
- Design of service KPI’s for ongoing reporting and service improvement
- Build a strong business partnership with all stakeholders, in particular Finance on payroll management.
- Develop a simple, proactive Talent acquisition plan from identification of vacancy through to approvals and orientation of new employees
- Advise and leadon complex employee relation cases using market knowledge to evidence appropriate decision making
- Lead implementation of Global People solutions and internal processes for consistent records management as well as reporting.
