Job Description**
What's is all about?**
Visa has recently established a new team to focus on the global B2B travel ecosystem. The team is responsible for developing and managing key travel clients globally and building out a best-in-class product suite for the travel industry. The team will build relationships with travel players including OTAs, issuers, merchants, GDSs, fintech’s, travel aggregators etc.
**What we expect of you, day to day**:
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new team within Visa, managing one of the company’s most important strategic clients. This role, reporting to the Senior Director, Key Global Account, will be responsible for managing, growing and retaining Visa’s largest global B2B travel issuer, focusing on the APAC region. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing Visa’s key strategic global travel issuer, working in a consultative manner to retain and grow the account and create loyalty
- Working as part of a global strategic account team, managing the APAC region
- Maximizing revenue opportunities by building a deep client relationship and by being accountable for creating and delivering strategic and tactical account plan initiatives
- Acting as the liaison for the client, representing complex customer change requests, system, or operational requirements, negotiating and managing expectations internally and externally
- Analyzing client data and reacting quickly to account changes and/or market changes that may directly impact the profitability of the account
- Working closely with the B2B & Commercial product team to ensure client / market needs are being met and great product solutions / platforms are being delivered
- Working with the client to identify new and ongoing requirements, introducing new B2B & Commercial products and services as appropriate, endeavoring to break down silos and work together as “One Visa”
- Engaging with cross-functional colleagues including Marketing and Communications to deliver excellent client and industry-specific messaging and materials
- Staying current with industry and client trends and maintaining a strong knowledge of Visa products and services
**Qualifications**:
What we’re after
- 8-10 years of B2B payments experience, ideally in B2B Travel, working in business development and account management roles preferably within a large OTA or commercial issuer
- Demonstrated track record of supporting complex client deals or partnerships from negotiation, to closing and through delivery, with demonstrated trouble shooting / problem solving skills
- Strategic-thinker with strong analytical skills who can support the development of new data-led strategies to deepen client relationships
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships and influence across Visa’s highly-matrixed structure, including cross-functionally (product, marketing, finance etc.) and regionally (Europe, AP, CEMEA, NA, LAC)
- Team player who enjoys working as part of a small, agile team, with positive attitude, and aptitude and interest in learning new things
- Strong communication skills (written, oral & presentation) with an ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences in an approachable way
- Employee base is flexible and travel will be required on an regular basis
