**Location**:Toa Payoh, SG**Job Summary**
The Service Engineer is the core technical specialist for our Technology Business providing maintenance, recording, updating, technical advisory and repairs in accordance with our Service Agreements.

**General Responsibilities**
- Support reporting manager in completing service assignments
- Ensure technical services assignments comply with procedures and processes
- Maintain and submit accurate records of preventative maintenance, installations, repairs, time, services, expenses, etc
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and customers
- Preparing and executing Routine Preventive Maintenance and Calibration.
- Generating reports after service and documenting job completion into the Service system.
- Preparing and executing Installation of instrument. Arrange site-survey when necessary prior to installation.
- Ensuring performance/acceptance tests passes before handling over to customer.
- Generating reports after service and documenting job completion into the Service monitoring system.
- Diagnosing instrument and recommend repair solution for breakdown service cases.
- Following up by executing the repair service and verifying the instrument is back to operating condition before reporting to the customer.
- Proper planning and documenting of Preventive Maintenance jobs and other service job in calendar to ensure no job is overlooked.
- Co-operate with Team Leader and management to accomplish service tasks and target.
- Good sense of urgency to follow-up and repair breakdown instrument.
- Diligent in updating and closing of service job in Service monitoring system.
- Assisting fellow engineers when necessary.

**Functional Skills and Knowledge**
- Active participation in strategic planning and execution of a service job.
- Practice good relationship with customer.
- Practice good housekeep of service tools, equipment and reports.
- Good self-discipline and drive to complete given service tasks.
- Preferably with Refrigeration service experience.

**Education**
At least a Diploma or technical equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

**Work Experience**
- Technical expertise in refrigeration is preferred
- At least 2 years in a technical or service technician role
- Good understanding of compressors is important
