JR33645 Supplier Programs - Intern

**Responsibilities and Tasks**:
Main set of tasks revolve around 5 broad areas:
A) Common platform enablement
B) Supplier engagement and selection of relevant materials
C) Data content management for Micron
D) Supplier Analysis, Correlations and Causation
E) Bringing the value home for Micron

A) Common platform enablement (Work with IT, IP, Legal on Micron as well as supplier side)
1) Work with internal IT to ensure that we are working on key bottlenecks that help enable data sharing securely and anonymously in a normalized format
2) Driving vendors on key actions
3) Obtaining proof points of data exchange (Micron and Supplier)
4) Setting up checks and balance on data integrity

B) Supplier engagement and selection of relevant materials (work with Micron Procurement, GQ, MTE along with Supplier experts)
1) Work with suppliers (along with Procurement and MTE and GQ) to get them onto the platform by assessing their readiness and willingness
2) Find value and/or pain points for Micron to establish criteria for material/spare selection
3) Ensure that all types of materials are covered across front and backend

C) Data content management for Micron and Supplier (work with Micron and supplier’s technical experts on Quality, Materials, Manufacturing and Yield)
1) Work with supplier to decide type of data that needs to be shared (C of A, Process and manufacturing parameters, supplier’s supplier data for the same where relevant)
2) Cleanse the data, normalize and anonymize it
3) Work with corresponding Micron Fab/Eng users based on supplier’s point of use for the material or spare to decide type of data that needs to be shared (unpatterned and patterned wafer data of the relevant process, relevant tool data, parametric and probe data that represents repair as well as yield)
4) Connect and match the supplier and Micron data by time, by batch, by pieces etc.

D) Analysis, Correlations and Causation (work with SMAI, MTE and Supplier’s technical experts)
1) Perform with the team’s help correlations and analysis using algorithms and techniques for multivariate assessments between Micron and the supplier data
2) Work with technical experts on both sides to assess findings and get to causation
3) Get further proof points through golden bathes / golden pieces

E) Bringing the value home for Micron (work with GQ and Procurement)
1) Use learnings to change spec or material composition and or usage
2) Ensure that all changes are documented and tracked
3) Make the changes and ongoing work part of supplier rating and ranking

Finally, ensure a Safe, Compliant, and Ethical Work Environment
2) Communicate requirements and expectations to leaders and external stakeholders
3) Ensure execution of mandatory training for organization
4) Identify and resolve and / or report potential safety, security, and labor issues
