**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Regional Director APAC & UK, the Regional Distributor Partnerships Manager APAC is responsible for developing and managing our ‘hands-off’ business within the APAC region.
The position holder acts as a main point of contact of our distributors in APAC to ensure the success of our activities in the market that the Company operates in. S/he works closely with the distributors on the marketing strategies, sales force effectiveness, sales analysis and importation plan.
The position holder will be responsible for the success of these current and future partnerships.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
Markets currently covered: South Korea, Japan, Hong-Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Taiwan, and new markets opening currently assessed.
Overall business objective
- Oversee the complete business strategy of each country where we operate in
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our distributors and show continuous support through regular business reviews, trips to existing and prospective countries, organization of frequent distributors' meetings
- More specifically, work closely with distributors on: their marketing & sales strategy for Urgo portfolio; sales forecasts & analysis, and drive them to ensure they deliver on the sales targets; stock management & importation plan to meet the business needs; provide pathology and product training to distributors' sales teams; provide support to Urgo products' presentation during conferences and events
- Collaborate with all Urgo regional team (Marketing, SFE, QA/RA, Finance, Legal) to ensure distributors strategy, activities and way of reporting are aligned with Urgo practices
- Be responsible for monthly reporting and be accountable for the business results of each of our markets
Distributors management and new Business development opportunities
- Regularly re-evaluate the relationships with existing distributors to ensure the best suitability in each market
- Select and appoint new distributors where and when needed
- Stay close from the field to get a strong understanding of the markets and competition for each country
- Keep abreast emerging trends and new opportunities by evaluating new approaches and new markets in new countries, aligned with the regional strategy
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:
- Master’s degree in Business or Marketing
- 10+ years’ experience on commercial or marketing functions, including 4 years at least on similar roles
- Required prior experience in Medical device industry - specifically in wound care market being a plus
- Sound understanding of APAC culture and APAC markets
- Possess excellent commercial and business acumen and proven negotiation skills
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, outstanding communication and ability to cooperate with a wide variety of stakeholders, with the Distributors as well as internally
- High performer with high ambition to succeed, with strong results-orientation and an entrepreneurial mind-set
- Remarkable resilience with proven problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate high potential for development and learning, and an outstanding agility to learn and adapt
