Counselor (Part-Time)

**Contract Period**: 1 January 2026 - 31 December 2026
**Work Location**: Fidelio Street

Working Hours
- Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays**:8:30am - 12:30pm**:

- No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays

Scope of Services

**Counselling Work**:

- Provide individual counselling to pupils referred by the school.
- Conduct face-to-face sessions.
- Consult with Teachers/CCE HOD/School Leaders regarding pupils.
- Work with families of pupils being counselled.
- Conduct home visits (with school personnel) when necessary.
- Refer pupils/families to community resources for specialised assistance.
- Provide regular feedback to school administration and teachers on pupils counselled.
- Provide consultation to teachers/parents on non-referral cases and counselling-related matters.
- Conduct relevant groupwork, workshops, or activities for pupils with special emotional needs.
- Facilitate group counselling sessions for referred pupils.

**Counselling-Related Activities**:

- Document all cases and counselling work.
- Network and liaise with relevant social service agencies.
- Reach out to pupils and parents to build rapport and create awareness of counselling services.
- Conduct training sessions for teachers/parents on pupils’ social and emotional development.

Registration Requirement
- Must be **registered with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC)**.
- Must continue receiving ongoing clinical supervision throughout the contract period.
- Contractor to ensure the personnel remains registered with SAC during the entire tenure.

Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum **Diploma in Social Work, Psychology, or Counselling**.
- At least **3 years of relevant experience** in:

- Counselling and guidance, preferably with young children.
- Case management or social work.
- Pleasant disposition with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to $3,000.00 per month
