Counselor Role

Job Description

This is a part-time counselor position that requires working with pupils referred by the school.

  • Conduct face-to-face counseling sessions.
  • Consult with teachers, CCE HODs, and school leaders regarding pupils.
  • Work with families of pupils being counseled.
  • Conduct home visits when necessary.
  • Refer pupils and families to community resources for specialized assistance.
  • Provide regular feedback to school administration and teachers on pupils counselled.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A minimum Diploma in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in counseling and guidance, preferably with young children.
  • Case management or social work experience.
  • Pleasant disposition with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
