Meranti Power Pte. Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of Energy Market Authority, is establishing a maintenance team to maintain two open cycle gas turbines of our power generation station.

We are inviting applicants for the positions of Technical Officer (Electrical) who shall report to the Senior Engineer/ Engineer/ (Electrical Maintenance) and be responsible for supporting him in the maintenance of Electrical systems of the power station/plants. The Technical Officer shall support Electrical team in the following:
**Responsibilities:
- Responsible for proper maintenance of gas turbine, generator and auxiliary systems as assigned by Head or Engineers in-charge
- Perform troubleshooting, predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure plant equipment and systems run smoothly and efficiently
- Identify, plan and initiate required actions to maintain the power plants for long term reliability and efficient generation output
- Prepare technical specifications for equipment services, contract labour and ad-hoc maintenance services. Supervise and report performance of contractors to ensure good quality and progress of maintenance works, as well as full compliance with contract specifications
- Liaise, supervise, and coordinate with contractors and vendors on projects, maintenance, repair, shut down, and overhaul works
- Support operation and maintenance engineers in investigation, analyse and determine the root cause of plant defects and outages
- Maintain and control all records as required
- Assist in the preparation, certification and review of all management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISO 50001 annually and provide support to the auditing parties wherever necessary, including internal & external auditors, to rectify non compliances and/or to follow up on improvement items identified during audit
- Support engineers in managing maintenance contracts and inspections, testing and commissioning of new equipment
- Monitor ad-hoc plant projects/tasks to ensure on time delivery
- Perform work orders allocated by Department Heads and/or Engineers

**Requirements:
- Education in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years’ Electrical maintenance experience in a power plant or related industry
- Willing to work overtime
- Self-driven with good working attitude and possess keen learning disposition
- Proven attendance record and works well in a team
- Work location is in Jurong Island (Transport to and from Jurong East MRT are provided)
