Vp - Listed Derivatives Operations (Investment Bank)

Our client is a leading International investment bank, with a strong presence in APAC.
They are looking for VP with Listed Derivatives experience to join their APAC Operations team, overseeing a team onshore, managing offshore relationships, ensure controls and processes are in place are pre-trade, reconciliations, lifecycles events, as well as related finance projects.

**Key responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage the Listed Derivatives Operations team in APAC, both onshore and offshore team members.
- Responsible for pre-trade, top day clearing, T+1 reconciliations and lifecycle events, and ensure that the controls around these processes are carried out and monitored diligently.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders including Clearing Brokers, Exchanges, and System Vendors to ensure optimization of straight through processing.
- Partner with key internal stakeholders within Business units to support strategy and policies including new business initiatives.
- Participate in the development and implementation of vendors systems, products, and markets. Implement processes and controls to comply to new rules and regulations.
- Accountable for ensuring all regional regulatory reports are completed in accordance with regulatory requirements and all reporting polices are adhered to.
- Act as an escalation contact for reconciliations across intersystem and nostro breaks and be accountable for resolution.
**Role requirements**:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Listed Derivatives Operations within the Financial Services industry.
- Experience in various operational functions which may include pre-trade management, trade processing, reconciliations, settlements, client services, and expiration/deliveries, as well experience of relevant clearing houses / exchanges.
- Prior team leadership experience, ideally having experience of operating with an offshore model.
