**Job Description**:
**Get to know the Role**:

- Create a culture of compliance & governance within the company as a trusted compliance advisor
- Oversee and manage compliance matters within the company
- Implement, maintain and update (as required) a clear and robust Ethics & Compliance framework and process for the issuance, review and approval of compliance policies and other supporting documents
- Ensure all policies and other supporting documents have clear plans for engagement, implementation, training, communications and assurance/monitoring prior to issuance
- Responsible to ensure proactive and timely identification, assessment, advice, and dissemination of evolving regulatory changes/practices and associated risks
- Ensures that the company is in compliance with various regulatory requirements and that employees are in adherence with internal procedures and policies
- Formulate approaches to obtain appropriate management information to assure effective controls and standards in compliance policies
- Develop the Annual Plan for undertaking periodic surveillance reviews of compliance arrangements, reporting any findings to senior management, and tracking the resolution of the issues identified; be proactive in identifying compliance risk areas
- Lead communication with Board, Senior Management and relevant committees to provide compliance status and recommendations for improvement

**The Qualifications & Experience**:

- Relevant university degree, Law degree would be a plus
- Proven track record of ethics & compliance-related work experiences
- Impeccable ethics and integrity
- Business awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic, and market environment in which the company operates
- Able to understand and translate regulations into guidelines, policies, and procedures
- A plus to have knowledge of MAS regulatory framework, AML/CFT, and any other relevant regulations
- Comfortable working under tight time frames and pressure. Often when necessary, rolling up sleeves to meet deadlines with strong program management skills
- Technically inclined with an ability to engage and work with technology specialists and very comfortable navigating in a fast-paced rapidly evolving environment
- Commercial attitude, strong problem-solving skills and enjoy working in an entrepreneurial, team-driven environment
