We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head, Group and Land Procurement to join our Group Procurement team. This role will manage a team of procurement category managers and lead PIL Group procurement activities across various categories, covering policy formulation, process governance, IT procurement systems, target setting and performance reporting. It will also develop strategies for the Land Procurement category (depot, rail and truck procurement) and partner with users on indirect procurement such as HR, Admin and Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Group Procurement Excellence: Develop and oversee PIL global procurement work plan, including objectives, KPIs and timelines; provide leadership on PIL Group Procurement policies and cross-functional best practices; assess and manage procurement risk and develop mitigation strategies; lead procurement transformation projects to develop and manage common procurement systems; oversee the Global Procurement Committee that steers the Procurement Strategy and refreshes the Work Plan every 2 months; handle indirect procurement (travel, admin, IT); provide monthly updates in SMC meetings for Group Procurement Excellence matters.
  • Landside Procurement: Strategize global landside procurement initiatives, contracts and supplier selections with risk evaluation and four-eyes principle; drive vendor performance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance; address and resolve procurement challenges across multiple business units and regions; coach and develop the team and design organization structure to enable talent succession; provide leadership and support to Regional Office for all landside category matters from Source to post-Contracting (excluding
