**Description**

**Role Purpose**:
The Senior Sales Associate will be responsible for supporting the Retail sales team’s effort in APAC to expand and grow the business from the client segment through maintaining current client relationships and establishing new ones with the retail brokerage firms in APAC. Through supporting the team’s collaboration with our broker partners in the region, effectively promote CME Group’s products and services within the region.

This role is within the Client Development and Sales (CD&S) organization and will be reporting into the Senior Director Props/Retail APAC. As part of CD&S, the Senior Sales Associate will be responsible for CRM reporting, pipeline management, account management, campaign management, cross referral and cross selling, country plan management and other sales initiatives.

**The Position Will Be Responsible For**
- Managing a portfolio of existing and prospective retail brokerages and generating business growth through active engagements on the benefits and opportunities offered by CME products and services.
- Supporting the retail team in managing the marketing programs involving existing clients to educate and promote CME Group’s products and services.
- Performing analysis and generating reports on the trends on the product and client level, helping the team to identify developing trends in a timely manner to engage the market.
- Building valuable and positive customer experience through timely and efficient responses to clients’ requests.
- Participating in the development of and is accountable for effective execution of sales strategy
- Working with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver key value proposition to broker partners.
- Alignment of brokerages’ interest with CME to deliver volume and revenue growth from the retail segment.
- Developing an understanding of all the CME business lines to help facilitate cross product development and enhance cross sell opportunities
- Participating in the development of and accountable for the execution of segment specific sales strategy. Utilizes CRM system to record and track sales activity and outreach
- Participating in relevant industry conferences and events

**Qualifications**
- Sales and/or client facing experience (2-5 years) within the B2B financial services industry
- Analytical mindset - able to analyze information, identify problems and trends, and solve complex problems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Bloomberg, Tableau and SQL databases is a plus
- Good teamwork spirit, strong interpersonal / communication / presentation skill
- Creative and able to think out-of-the-box.
- Strong interpersonal skills, an ability to easily connect with people using both written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) preferably in Business, Finance, Commerce, or related field
