**The Role**

Peerpoint’s Asia Client Development team is recruiting a senior legal services client development professional, for a 12-month fixed term contract role, to cover parental leave within the team. The role is based in Singapore, as part of the Peerpoint Asia business across Singapore.

The Client Development team is responsible for managing the end to end client sales process, which includes: sourcing and effectively qualifying new client leads; pitching to clients for business; establishing new and long-term client relationships; taking client briefs; sourcing suitable legal consultants; negotiating commercial terms; and closing the deal. It is a fast-moving process that requires an individual with drive, tenacity, strong organisational skills and excellent client management ability.

The position will suit individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including business development and client account management professionals who have worked at law firms and/or consulting firms (with a focus on legal services) and lawyers.

**Role and responsibilities**

**Business & strategy**
- Contributing to strategic business plans.
- Successfully delivering high growth strategic priorities for the business to ensure delivery against our business plan. Regular review of business performance statistics.
- The development and delivery of new market/sector/product plans for the business.
- Demonstrating a strong commercial mindset and detailed understanding of market trends, competitor developments and innovations in our industry.
- Creating and rolling out strategic business development campaigns to attract new clients and grow our existing client base.

**Client Development**
- Strategic account management for key client accounts, and associated engagements for those accounts.
- Leading meetings with key client contacts and developing strong relationships throughout the organisation.
- Developing new business within client accounts and with new clients to drive growth and build pipeline of sales opportunities.
- Managing head of legal level relationships in a consultative and advisory and peer-to-peer capacity.
- Identifying opportunities and effectively cross-selling A&O and the firm's Advanced Delivery & Solutions services to clients.

**Sales**
- Effectively qualifying leads and new opportunities from existing and potential clients.
- Taking comprehensive briefs from clients regarding their resourcing requirements.
- Running commercial negotiations with both clients and consultants.
- Taking an active role in identifying and delivering process improvements and efficiencies in our client sales process and placement delivery.
- Close management and support of the consultants, from exploring opportunities through to whilst they are on placement.

**Other**
- Acting as a champion and brand ambassador for Peerpoint externally in the market at industry events.
- Represent the Peerpoint business at recruitment and consultant events, within A&O and its alumni network, and at client events. Contribute ideas to the Peerpoint team’s wider objectives.
