We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Windows Server Administrator and Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. This role requires expertise in managing Windows servers, networking infrastructure, and ensuring seamless connectivity and security across the organization.
**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities:
Windows Server Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022).
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and File Services.
- Monitor server performance and implement tuning and patch management.
- Perform regular backups, disaster recovery, and data integrity testing.
- Implement and maintain security policies for servers.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring high system uptime.
Network Engineering:
- Design, implement, and support local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and VPNs.
- Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure seamless communication across the organization.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including IP, DNS, and routing issues.
- Implement security measures such as firewall rules, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
- Support remote users with network connectivity and VPN solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Windows Server administration and network engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
- Experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and their configuration.
- Familiarity with cloud services and hybrid environments is a plus.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are highly preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
