Mindshare Account Executive

Mindshare is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally.

We are currently looking for an Account Executive to join us. In this role, you will work with a passionate team in driving the integrated communications planning agenda for a major FMCG client (and potentially other clients) and help grow diversified services footprints for the brands under your care.

Measures of success
- In three months:

- Demonstrate understanding of the media landscape and business challenges and begin to contribute ideas on how to improve on current situation
- Implementation of media plans across both traditional and digital channels
- Great understanding of your portfolio of clients

In six months:

- Be the person whom the client goes to for day-to-day activities
- Able to propose ideas and activities to answer identified challenges

In twelve months:
Assist in leading projects/new campaigns and/or channels (identify need, formulate idea into plan, set the scope and present to the Director)

Responsibilities of the role:

- Identify and implement local media initiatives
- Understand the client’s market position to achieve optimal negotiation for clients
- Ensure regular reporting is delivered on time and accurately
- Ensure that campaigns are tracked and measured based on agreed KPIs and media efficiencies
- Develop and build relationships with clients, acting as first point of contact on account requirements
- Develop strong working relationship with key agency and media partners. This will include acting as the first point of contact for operational issues
- Combine creative thinking with factual analysis to develop appropriate recommendation
- Keep current on media trends

What you will need:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in media agency or media owners preferred
- Familiar in media planning and buying across all platforms with applied knowledge of 3rd party ad-serving, website and tracking and associated technologies a must, especially programmatic
- Knowledge of media planning tools and concepts
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Attention to detail
- Great knowledge of excel and PowerPoint
- Commercial flair and good communication skills
- Willingness to think outside of the box and challenge conventional thinking
- Client service and team spirit attitude
