**Group/Division**

The Legal Compliance Organization (LCO) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA and second headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI provides legal guidance to further KLA’s strategic objectives and protect and preserve the legal, ethical and financial integrity and reputation of the Company. With specific expertise in the areas of corporate law, commercial law, employment law, and intellectual property; the LCO offers strategic legal counsel that is informed by a clear understanding of the company’s business objectives and expertise in the laws and regulations relevant to the business worldwide.

Based out of KLA Singapore’s office, the Employee Relations Investigator will be a member of KLA’s Legal & Compliance Organization reporting to the global Head of Investigations and partnering closely with the Global Employment Law Team. The Employee Relations Investigator will be an advocate of KLA’s culture and values and will be responsible for investigating potential workplace concerns including violations of KLA’s global policies, values and/or applicable laws or regulations. This role will include investigating matters related to workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, privacy, intellectual property theft, conflicts of interest, and other policy breaches.

The Employee Relations Investigator’s responsibilities will include conducting investigations in a fair, impartial, and thorough manner including conducting employee and third-party interviews; documenting investigation efforts, analysis, review, or impressions; managing and working with third party resources; drafting investigation reports; preparing recommendations; and reporting out investigation findings at all levels within KLA. The Employee Relations Investigator must have uncompromising integrity; the ability to handle multiple complex investigations concurrently; empathy for those involved in the investigation process; and the ability to confront those involved in the investigation process about difficult information and findings.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Conduct fair, thorough, and timely investigations into allegations of violations of KLA’s policies or local law and policies to ensure fair treatment of all employees.
- Initiate and complete all investigation steps, including document review, interviews, investigation reports, recommend remedial actions, and reporting out on investigation findings, trends, and related metrics.
- Manage and work with third party resources, such as digital forensics, investigation, and document review firms.
- Manage document reviews, including the collection, review, and analysis of relevant documents.
- Conduct employee training on KLA’s investigation process, including reporting channels and the importance of raising issues.
- Support the Global Employment Law Team on other projects, initiatives, and strategic opportunities as may arise from time-to-time.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 4-year undergraduate degree in Employee Relations, Human Resources or related fields.
- At least 4+ years professional experience conducting internal workplace investigations in-house or law firm.
- Experience with stakeholder management in a global organization.
- Experience in consulting directly with employees and management
- Ability to collaborate across teams, multiple regions and time zones, including international travel.
- Excellent communication, analytical, influencing and writing skills.
- Self-motivated and persistent; strong ability and comfort in exercising independent judgment for obtaining results while containing legal risk.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Qualified Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification or equivalent.
- Wicklander-Zulawski, or similar certifications.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (verbal and written).
