**Project & Technical Services Manager ES APAC**

The Project & Technical Services Manager for ES/APAC is responsible to support the future growth of BES in APAC through the timely and well executed coordination and management of the key APAC projects in coordination of activities between functions including technical, regulatory, finance, supply chain and marketing. He / She will also plan, manage and consolidate trial programs, technical support, product training and other technical services for BES APAC region as well as lead and manage the technical expert community meetings within APAC.

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Be the "go-to" expert on PPM, RH and VC in the APAC region and to represent Bayer as an expert at various technical forums etc.
- Develop, attract and retain talents for MD team to ensure sustainable growth for APAC
- Support APAC countries to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders (Marketing, SD, RS, PS and Finance) in ensuring technical feasibility & proper execution.
- Lead and manage the PMC meeting maintaining constructive working atmosphere with country team and Operational Excellence team in Lyon.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress on these projects in APAC.
- Measure launch performance using appropriate tools for the first 3 years after launch and alert if the performance is not aligned with the target.
- Provide product training (including field training), and technical support on the product portfolio to country teams as well as external customers. Ensure that all technical support material in APAC covers stewardship and meets Bayer's standards of quality and in line with industry code of practice.
- Provide regular updates on trial progress and results to regional and SD teams through participation in regional and global meetings as well as the APAC technical community in ensuring ongoing support and visibility on these projects in APAC.
- Present on Bayer products/technologies at relevant industry forums or academic conferences.
- Engage with regional technical stakeholders to bring better policy direction to our strategy in VC, PPM and RH areas.

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- Postgraduate Studies in Life Sciences or equivalent
- Fluency in English
- Good understanding of the R&D processes, project management, marketing and business excellence.
- (Digital) Data management skill
- Effective project management skill and leadership to drive country project team
- Flexibility to expand technical knowledge & skill in unexperienced areas
