**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist department head in organize, plan & control of plating processes for meeting departmental & company business objectives.
- Improve on daily plating operations, analyze and reduce defect rate, set-up time, wastage, and down time, etc.
- Troubleshoots plating process / product problems in order to minimize product downtime and achieve product quality.
- Increase productivity and reduces rejection rate through process engineering & continuous improvements.
- Assume leadership in collaborating with production teams to ensure that production lines run in accordance to the quality standards required.
- Cultivate the culture of employees’ awareness & sensitivity, including that of the importance of their activities and how they contribute to the achievement of the quality objectives, and how their activities can impact the customers.
- Ensure that production equipment, tooling, and work environment are in good conditions.
- Feedback & periodic update on production status, production problems and failure and its root causes and preventive measures in order to meet volatile production & delivery schedule.
- Control nonconforming products, that are to segregate, dispose or held for further disposition and initiate preventive measures to prevent reoccurrence.
- Provide technical assistance on production or process problems.
- Monitor, coordinate and expedite materials for production.
- Acknowledge production quantity for external & internal customer.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
1. At least Secondary education with minimum 10 years of working experience in Electro-plating of leadframe manufacturing industry.

2. Equip with working experience as Production Superintendent in Electro-plating leadframe manufacturing industry for 3 years or more.

3. Prior technical knowledge and experience in leadframe manufacturing would be advantageous.

4. Independent, self-motivated and goal-oriented with excellent communication.

5. Able to prioritize and have a sense of urgency, customer-focused.

6. All job functions relating to production superintendent in Plating Department.
