Roles & Responsibilities
**Basic Functions**
- Investigate and handle all customers’ complaints related to product failures.
- Providing after-sales technical support and site service responsibilities to distributors/end customers.
- Review and assist in processing warranty claims from distributors
- Standby support and 24/7 emergency call for customer support.
**Specific Responsibilities**
- Provide the installation, commissioning and on-site training to support the customers according to the scope of the project
- Provides after sales technical support, troubleshooting, site service and maintenance visit to customers in a timely manner to ensure that the product is operational
- Generate a service report to customer in a systematic manner
- Handles wide range of diesel generator sets (small to large capacity) to provide support to departments in terms of service and training
- Develop service training material, ensures all technical and training documents are up-to-date and organized
- Provides specific training to distributors and dealers for service and troubleshooting skillsets, ensuring optimum service level at all distributors
- Maintain close working relationship with our key customers to ensure the follow through until the issue is resolved
- Provides technical assistance on factory test of special projects
- Investigates root causes of failures and recommend solution
- To deal with customer on the warranty issues from technical aspect
- Performs any other service and training duties as and when assigned
**Qualifications / Requirements**
- Diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience
- This position requires fair amount of traveling in the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia Region
- A team player with strong problem-solving skills and task oriented
- Possess strong customer service orientation, enthusiasm for power generation products, electrical and control system
- Prior electrical and control experience with various control system (Comap, Deepsea, DEIF, Woodward, Volvo ECU, John Deere ECU) and synchronization system will be advantageous
