We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Pastry Chef to join our dedicated team. As a Junior Pastry Chef, you will play a crucial role in the creation of delightful desserts and cakes that align with our Halal food principles. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional culinary experiences.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the senior pastry chefs in preparing and producing a wide array of desserts, cakes, and pastries.
- Contribute to the creation of aesthetically pleasing cake decorations and innovative dessert presentations.
- Adhere to recipes and instructions meticulously to ensure consistent quality and taste.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, strictly following all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stock rotation.
- Adhere to the company's portion control guidelines to minimize wastage and maximize efficiency.
- Stay updated with current pastry trends and techniques through continuous learning and research.
- Foster a positive work environment by working effectively as part of a team and supporting colleagues.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in a pastry or bakery role is desirable but not essential.

Fresh graduates from culinary schools with a focus on pastry are encouraged to apply.
- Passion for pastry and a genuine interest in the culinary arts.
- Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and the ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality desserts and cakes.
- Ability to work well in a team, communicate effectively, and take direction from senior chefs.
- Familiarity with Halal cuisine and desserts is an advantage.

**Work Schedule**:
Monday to Friday: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
Saturday: 7:00 am to 12:00 pm
