**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the performance and results of Quality Control and Assurance functions.
- Lead, manage and mentor Quality team to ensure productive and high-performance work environment.
- Develop, implement, monitor and/or improve Quality framework and Standard Operating Procedures
- Implement and uphold food safety and hygiene standards; risk assessments; quality specifications; documentation and procedures to comply with SFA, Halal, FSSC 22000, HACCP etc statutory requirements and company policies
- Drive projects and initiatives to ensure compliance with Food Quality, Safety & Hygiene standards and requirements
- Support production team to trouble-shoot and resolve any product quality issues
- Ensure that all food safety, quality related and non-compliance issues are investigated and corrective measures are implemented and adhered to.
- Lead and coordinate internal/external quality audits with relevant parties
- Prepare Quality and Performance reports for submission to Senior Management
- Conduct Food Safety & Hygiene and HACCP related training to blue collared factory employees.

**Job Requirements**:

- Good understanding of **SFA, FSSC / ISO 22K, GMP **, **HACCP **, **Halal **and other food related requirements and regulations in Singapore
- Hands on experience in similar industry setting
- Good understanding of food safety, health and environmental safety audit requirements.

**Education, Experience & Training**
- Diploma/ Degree in Food Science/ Technology or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in the Food Manufacturing / Food Production industry
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Independent, proactive and meticulous
