DESIGNATION : Transhipment Executive, Import (Shipping)

RESPONSIBILITIES

As **Transshipment Executive, Import** you will join a dynamic team to handle all related manage all transshipment containers (laden+ empty) in Singapore. Ensuring these containers are discharged with transshipment status and reloaded correctly onto the respective second carriers. You will also have the opportunity to work and communicate across geographical and cultural borders that will enable you to build a strong professional network.

**Key Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Senior Transshipment Executive, Import, your main responsibility is to planning of connecting vessels for respective transshipment containers. Your key responsibilities include:

- Monitor and supervise the import status declarations made by our S.E.A out ports directly into PSA system for MSC Feeders;
- Ensure timely receipt of manifest from Inward Documentation Departments / Load Port for all vessel discharging in Singapore;
- Check and obtain space approval from Regional Office for all MSC owned connecting carriers;
- Arrangement of 3rd party feeder space for destinations not served by MSC vessels or when own vessel’s space are full;
- Ensure all transshipment containers discharging from 1st carriers are declared correctly in the Portnet system and loaded on correct connecting carriers;
- Preparation of ‘Daily Transshipment Advise’ report to Regional Office and S.E.A offices, providing latest comprehensive updates of all transshipment containers lying in PSA for their reference and planning purposes;
