**Your role**
- Our Financial Crime Prevention (“FCP”) Surveillance function is responsible for name screening in the APAC Private Banking (“PB”) and Investment Banking (“IB”) businesses to detect potential AML/CFT suspicious activity.- To Review and investigate Names Screening alerts triggered by the firm’s name screening tools and process.
- Ensure Name screening alerts are reviewed or escalated promptly with good level of documentation.
- Produce appropriate management information and raise potential system/process issues to key Names Screening Surveillance Effectiveness team in a timely manner.
- Work with key business partners to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Name Screening programs.
- Provide a feedback loop to the APAC FCP on alerts, scenario performance and any trend analysis undertaken.
- Take part in all relevant meetings and participate in ad-hoc projects.
- To participate and provide support in related integration activities.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with global partners and the wider Compliance team.
**Your team**
- You will join as part of the Financial Crime Prevention team within Compliance & Operational Risk Control. This team comprises of both Due Diligence Officers (DDO) and our Financial Intelligence Unit. We work as a gatekeeper in preventing money laundering, corruption and the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) for the bank.
**Your expertise**
- Graduate degree, preferably with specialization in banking or finance
- More than 3 years of relevant work experience in AML Name Screening, or other related financial crime or money laundering investigations
- Good understanding of various name screening tools (E.g SAMatching ,Factiva, Refinitiv, Ripjar).
- Proactive, possessing a sense of ownership and accountability in following through on existing issues and cases.
- Outstanding analytical skills and an eye for detail, can manage workload and thrive under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- SQL, VBA experience a plus
- Be passionate about the role, ability to challenge and build positive relationships
