System Assurance Engineer

A **System Assurance Engineer **is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks associated with systems and processes within an organization. The primary duties include:
**- Conducting Risk Assessments **- : Evaluating potential hazards and vulnerabilities in systems and processes.
**- Developing Mitigation Plans **- : Designing and implementing strategies to minimize identified risks.
**- Compliance Monitoring **- : Ensuring that systems and processes comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
**- Documentation **- : Creating and maintaining detailed reports on risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and compliance status.
**- Collaboration **- : Working with various departments to develop and maintain safety standards and protocols.
**- Training **- : Providing training to staff on risk management practices and procedures.
**- Continuous Improvement **- : Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and safety.
**Qualifications**
**- Educational Background & Experience **- : Diploma or Degree in SA engineering with minimum 5 years’ proven work experience in risk assessment, system assurance, or a related field.
**- Technical Skills **- : Proficiency in risk assessment tools and methodologies, knowledge of safety regulations, and experience with compliance standards.
**- Certifications **- : Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Project Management Professional (PMP) can be beneficial.
**- Soft Skills **- : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
**- Additional Skills **- : Additional experience in risk assessment and/or ISO 9001 will be a plus.
