**Job Description**:
We're looking for an exceptional Solutions Engineering Manager to lead and have direct line management of our Enterprise and Channel Solutions Engineering function in APAC, alongside being technically hands-on with the role, products, solutions, and services. The primary focus is on pre-sales technical discovery, Evaluations/Proof of Values, and post-sales assist with revenue target responsibilities.

This role is part of the Global Solution Delivery which focuses on developing innovative solutions for our customers that suit their needs. This role will report into the APAC Head of Solution Delivery based out of Singapore. You will lead our existing Solutions Engineers and help us strengthen the team’s performance and outcomes to APAC business. You will align closely with Regional APAC Sales Leaders, Product Management, and Engineering to help close deals and execute strategic solutions for customers and partners.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the operational line management of the APAC Solutions Engineering Team, including performance management, annual reviews, coaching and development.
- Mentor and develop team members for their high performance.
- Refine and scale the core Solutions Engineering processes such as discovery, technical qualification and proof-of-concept.
- Develop Enterprise solutions and customer proposals.
- Develop and deliver product and solution demonstrations.
- Work with sales leadership and clients to design, create and present business solutions to increase client revenue growth.
- Provide advice and support response to requests for proposals (RFPs), i.e. present recommendations and associated benefits to clients.
- Promote products and business solutions through demonstrations and presentations in regional industry events, conferences, forums, and seminars as a thought leader.
- Provide input on product development or enhancements to existing products to product management function.
- Ensure provision of adequate technical training for team members on all related products.
- Develop and provide technical training for Partners’ and Distributors’ SEs on related products.
- Work with sales leadership to maximise efficient use of technical resource.
- Collaborate with our sales teams and partners with high-touch pre-sales technical activity in order to support the closing of the deals.
- Maintain market and competitive awareness.
- Technically qualify opportunities and POV (Proof of Value) evaluation with end-user accounts and partners.
- Help with Security Questionnaire and Security Assessment Reports for customers.
- Liaison between partner/customers and corporate headquarters for technical issues and their requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in Solutions engineering or systems engineering with at least 3 years managing and directing a customer facing engineering team that includes remote team members.
- Excellent knowledge and prior experience selling network security technologies including but not limited to: HTTP and web related technologies, integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, GraphQL, FTP/SFTP, JDBC, XML, JSON.
- Expert knowledge in at least few of the following: Networking, Operating systems, Security Protocols, Mobile devices, Active Directory, administration of back-up, virtualization, Project and process management.
- Strong people management and leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in a methodical and disciplined manner. Set and manage expectations with senior stakeholders and team members.
- Excellent customer relationship, communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including being able to interact with senior executives.
- Ability to influence technical decision makers and executives.
- Openness to travelling to client meetings at least 40% of the time where necessary.
