**About the Role**
The Senior Analyst/ Analyst of Strategic Partnerships will help to run our commercial, operational and financial strategy across China and Hong Kong with our partner Alibaba. You will be the median between Account Teams, internal support teams and Alibaba and will be responsible for driving collaboration between key collaborators to ensure a successful partnership. You will be required to drive programs and alignment across teams, to provide reporting and insights, be strong at forming relationships and will need to have a problem solving approach.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Enable our Account Teams on the Alibaba Resale Process
- Drive the adoption of Resale for the region including both new business and renewals
- Be the focal point and Subject Matter Authority for our Resale Business process and guide our internal teams on how to process orders via Resale
- Work with our China based Partner Management team to progress deals
- Work collaborative with the Alibaba team to identify improvements to the process
- Analyze the health of our resale business and provide insights on opportunity areas and/or hindrances
- Provide regular and timely updates and recommendations to management on the health of the business to drive better business decisions
- Collaborate with Greater China Renewal team to monitor Resale deal pipeline and deal progression
- Create, update and maintain collateral, documents and resources including processes and policies
**Required Skills/Experience**
- Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.).
- Strong business sense with the ability to balance the interest of Salesforce and Alibaba to ensure a mutually beneficial outcome for the Partnership
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to establish relationships and work collaboratively to get results
- Knowledge of Salesforce product and platform features, capabilities, and best use
- Proven ability to structure and transition complex problems to solutions
- Capable of explaining concepts clearly and credibly across all levels of the organization
- Ability to see the big picture, innovate and adapt to constant change
- Great interpersonal skills, excellent communicator - including written and verbal communication
- Comfortable with the ambiguity associated with a fast paced business with sophisticated geopolitical challenges
- Effective time management skills & ability to multi-task and balance priorities
- Self-motivator that demonstrates high degree of determination and accountability
- Fluency in Mandarin required (written and spoken) as this person will work with counterparts in Greater China.
