As we continue to expand our global presence, we are opening our first overseas office in many years, in Singapore - a dynamic and strategically important hub for collectors across Asia. This marks an exciting new chapter in our growth, and we are seeking a talented Collectables Manager to help us build and develop our presence in this key market.

**Job Purpose**:
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary representative and specialist for Stanley Gibbons Baldwin’s in Singapore, building and maintaining strong relationships with local collectors, dealers, and institutions.
- Develop and grow consignments and direct purchases by actively seeking high-quality material for sale through private treaty or auction, leveraging both personal networks and local market knowledge.
- Provide expert valuations and advice on stamps, coins, trading cards, comics and other areas of which we deal into clients, ensuring accuracy and professionalism in all interactions.
- Drive local marketing and outreach efforts, including attending and hosting collector events, exhibitions, and community gatherings to promote the brand and services.
- Collaborate closely with the London headquarters to align on strategic objectives, coordinate consignments and sales, and share market intelligence.
- Oversee the presentation and merchandising of the shop, ensuring an inviting and professional environment that reflects the company’s heritage and standards.
- Support the organisation and execution of auctions and private sales, including client liaison, material preparation, and post-sale follow-up as needed.
- Act as a mentor and point of expertise within the Singapore office, working alongside the office manager to deliver seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional customer service.
- Maintain and grow a database of local clients and prospects, ensuring accurate record-keeping and proactive relationship management.
- Uphold and promote the highest ethical standards, maintaining the trust and integrity associated with the Stanley Gibbons Baldwin’s name.

**Experience required**:

- Previous experience within philately or numismatics is advantageous (knowledge within both is not essential)
- Knowledge of the auction or collectables market is advantageous but not essential

**Skills required**:

- Strong knowledge of stamps and/or coins / and or trading cards and comics from various periods and regions
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organised

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $68,732.00 - $85,915.75 per year
