**Brief overview of the role**

Euromonitor International is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and multi-skilled Regional Event Specialist to amplify Euromonitor’s brand awareness, lead generation and revenue.

The Regional Event Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing internal and external events and webinars, generating media interest and coverage as well as marketing post-event reports in Asian countries that align with the overall marketing strategy to support business objectives. You will collaborate with sales and marketing leaders to ensure alignment and the greatest possible return on investment.

The position manages the event strategy along with promotion and tactics for both in-person and digital events in the APAC region. Your creativity and resourcefulness in organising and hosting successful events will help promote products, engage with clients, inspire confidence in our brand and communicate our brand strategy to internal and external stakeholders.

**Key responsibilities**
- Work closely with the Global Head of Events to build the strategy and associated deliverables in APAC
- Research, recommend and prioritise new growth opportunities and strengthen existing events to maximize ROI and brand awareness
- Manage and coordinate digital and physical events including topic development, technology needs, invitation and registration support, delivery of high-quality content and reporting
- Conduct market research on platforms, venues, content and speakers and negotiate agreements
- Ensure Euromonitor is represented in high-quality conferences in Japan and other Asian countries
- Drive lead generation efforts by supporting internal and external events and correlate revenue to support growth
- Report on internal / external / virtual events performance
- Work closely with commercial and research leadership teams in APAC to define strategies for identified targets in assigned region and assess the priorities to target the right audience
- Manage projects to ensure that major event milestones are met and delivered according to project schedules
- Propose ideas to improve event quality and position yourself as a consultative partner to the different departments in Euromonitor
- Proactively manage arising issues and troubleshooting before, during and after an event
- Conduct pre-and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes
- Perform other duties as requested
- At times, provide your colleagues with local language support. For better localization of content and to generate greater marketing engagement at a local or regional level.

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of Events related experience
- Extensive experience in planning and coordinating events and conferences
- Thrive in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment with a strong capacity to lead multiple, high-priority projects, handle tight deadlines on a daily basis and work cross-functionally
- Event lead for program execution working across teams and divisions, meeting facilitation, internal communication, timeline management and post event reporting
- Strong people management skills - ability to manage, adapt and inspire a team
- Experience with venue capacity management
- Excellent and creative negotiation skills
- Results-oriented, customer driven and organised with a keen eye for the bigger picture and strong interpersonal skills that are effective at all levels of a multinational organisation
- Ability to assess and prioritise workload in a strict deadline-oriented environment
- Exceptional time management, communication, organisational skills and professionalism required for executive-level meetings
- Excellent written and spoken English. Other languages an advantage but not mandatory
