**What"s the Role**:
BNEF's Asia Gas, Power & Carbon markets team is responsible for producing various insight reports relating to commodities and energy markets. The team conducts analysis of supply/demand fundamentals, price drivers, and strategic implications of market dynamics.

**We"ll trust you to**:
Roles and responsibility will be to support various recurring publications and database updates that the Asia Gas, Power & Carbon markets team produce. They include global LNG monthly/weekly reports, global coal trade and APAC power monthly reports and a carbon market weekly publication. Additional analysts reaction pieces will also be done depending on market developments.

In this role you will learn about gas-power-carbon supply/demand fundamentals and specific dynamics across different Asian markets. There will also be work around spot-contract trade flows and shipping analysis for LNG and coal.

This role will provide an opportunity for the analyst to sharpen data analytics skills, such as using python and processing large datasets for analysis and forecasting. Focus will also be on developing the analysts' writing skills.

There will be training on how to update Bloomberg's various database frameworks that relate to Asia gas, power and carbon market analysis.

You will also have the opportunity to join a group of analysts that sit across Tokyo, Beijing, Singapore and Sydney.
