Alcon is looking to hire a _
- Procurement Manager _
- in Singapore. You will be r_esponsible for establishing and driving site procurement strategy including review with business to ensure alignment with Global Procurement and Site Objectives. Establish supplier relationship management processes and manage supplier visits to achieve reliable and sustainable supply of goods, materials and services.

Job Responsibility- Responsible for overall suppliers’ contract management including negotiation of new contract, renewal contracts and ensure full compliance of contract management Monitoring market dynamics that impact materials/services availability and/or pricing and provide resolutions to the site with detail impact analysis. Responsible for driving and pro-actively engage business users / SME on second sourcing qualification including develop 2nd source strategy plan, review and update plan on periodically basis.- Accountable to ensure the establishment and successful implementation of robust business continuity plan for all critical materials based on site’s needs.- Ensure Site Procurement SOPs are established and updated timely and aligned with Global Procurement Guidelines.- Accountable for monitoring compliance and adherence of SOPs at the site level including pricing maintenance,users access right to various procurement platforms, credit term, purchase order term and conditions, approval of purchases etc.- Identify procurement saving projects to meet yearly saving, drive positive PPV and initiate project that has direct contribution to site TPC target.- Analyze risk and opportunity of vendors prices and drive to optimal procurement savings and mitigate the negative pricing.- Accountable for procurement savings reporting to Global.- To lead and resolve conflicts between business and suppliers and ensure no supply disruptions.- Manage day-to-day transactional buying activities to ensure goods, materials and services meet its standard, quality, timing Drive and perform new and approved vendors’ assessment on periodically basis.- Accountable in maintaining approved vendor list for the site. Accountable for internal and external audits and compliance review pertaining to procurement scopes.- To ensure various purchasing reports (open PO, non-conformance) are timely prepared for decision making and driving the effective of procurement activities To lead procurement colleagues of the site
