Tech - Senior Manager, Fix Client Connectivity

The Electronic Trading Technology team in Singapore is searching for an enthusiastic FIX specialist to lead the global client on-boarding team and project manage the entire electronic trading book of work for the electronic execution (EE) business.

In this exciting role, you will:

- Work proactively in resolving day-to-day BAU projects with various business desks directly
- Partner closely with the trading desk to bring in new revenue (new client on-boarding) and implement enhancements for existing clients
- Be responsible for end to end delivery - requirements, co-ordination with various internal teams, testing and implementation to deliver solutions to EE desk
- Participate in platform renovation - client migration and handle communications for platform updates
- Provide stake-holder updates to end-users across both business and technology to keep them informed of project initiatives underway for major projects
- Manage large scale strategic projects to help keep different aspects of the project on track
- Interact with multiple internal technology platform teams to help co-ordinate requirements and testing efforts to deliver high quality solutions for the business and external clients
- Work within a global team of motivated and talented FIX specialists to deliver quality solutions in a demanding business environment. This includes direct line management of 6 onboarding resources and task management of around 10 developers and QA resrouces.
- Provide second level of production support to ensure high availability of the trading systems
- Deliver to agreed constraints of time, effort and scope
- Have 10+ years of solid experience in a banking environment, preferably equity trading business
- Possess a tertiary education in technology and/or related disciplines
- Work well under pressure, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ideally you will be proficient in the following:

- FIX Protocol
- Unix/Linux platform
- Database and SQL query
- Scripting
