**Your role**
- Are you tech-savvy? Are you investment-minded with a passion to connect people and capital in a private banking context? We are looking for a Business Developer to:
- Build and engage pipeline of priority high growth Tech firms in Singapore and South East Asia via the Tech Connect platform
- Partner and collaborate with internal business divisions, stakeholders and/or external partners to facilitate capital raising, cash management and wealth management opportunities for prospective high growth Tech Firms
- Drive and deliver Tech Connect business and revenue goals
- Support marketing and publicity strategy with the Tech Connect team and other internal stakeholders to curate themes, events to engage priority start-ups and investors

**Your team**
- You will be working in the UBS Tech Connect Southeast Asia team based in Singapore, set up to drive and support the development of UBS as the Bank for Tech Entrepreneurs by helping them scale up with our connections and access to global capital.
**Your expertise**
- You have:
- Good understanding of tech clients and the tech industry in terms of trends and opportunities, key needs and support needed especially in capital raising during earlier and mid stages
- Experience in structuring capital raising deals (either in corporate finance, venture capital or private equity firms)
- Good understanding of tech firms and their start-up funding requirements, overall setup and exit potential
- Experience in client acquisition, investor relations, relationship management and relationship building
- Good communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Good understanding of tech capabilities, tends and opportunities, as well as the Wealth Management business and clients
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 5 years of experience in related areas
You are:
- Someone who understands deal structuring, due diligence, distribution process within a bank
- Experienced and passionate in working with tech start-ups
- A good team player who is positive and with a can-do attitude
- A strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues globally
- A self-starter, able to work under pressure and create new solutions independently
- Fluent in English and preferably Mandarin
