[What the role is]

You will lead the Emergency Preparedness team in the Operations Planning Division in formulating and executing strategies and policies relating to emergency and business continuity planning. You will also develop and conduct emergency preparedness activities and exercises.

[ What you will be working on]

You will be part of MPA’s emergency response team for consequence management of marine incidents/ accidents. You are also required to oversee both internal and external emergency preparedness planning requirements and management efforts to ensure the organisation’s operational readiness and sectoral continuity. In addition, you will also work closely with other government agencies as well as maritime companies to ensure holistic planning, complemented with a comprehensive training framework. Your role will include both administrative and field work.

[What we are looking for]
- At least 10 years of experience in developing emergency plans and exercise planning
- Past experience in the uniformed services will be an added advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment
