Director - Asia Head of Expense Management

**This role is a key member of the Asia Regional Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team covering Asia Expense analytics and insights across all Citi business groups (Institutional Clients Group, Wealth Management, Legacy Franchises and Enterprise Infrastructure Operations and Technology). This role reports to the Asia Regional FP&A Head and leads a large ~50 member team located across Singapore, Hong Kong and India**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Oversee and ensure robustness of the financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and allocation processes across the Asia Expense teams**:

- ** Lead the analysis and review of financial performance, especially drivers, trends, and the competitive environment, to enhance understanding of results across businesses.**:

- ** Synthesizing and communicating the business story behind the numbers, focusing on insights, while highlighting potential risks and opportunities**:

- ** Continue to drive across all Expense teams insightful analysis as the foundation for strategic decision-making, resource allocation and performance management**:

- ** Develop standardized and long term tools, analytical capability and databases across the teams to support thoughtful planning and target setting, as well as to drive transparency into internal expense allocation models**:

- ** Engage with senior business leaders to influence strategic resource allocation, investments and productivity actions. Working with the teams to ensure the implementation of measures and track the financial impact of key strategic decisions, and identify and implement course corrections towards achieving the targets.**:

- ** Continuous focus on process improvement across the team through key initiatives such as Digitization.**:

- ** Lead engagement and communication within the team, including the team from the Mumbai Analytical Centre. Promote business/product trainings across teams to enhance knowledge sharing and adoption of best practices**:

- ** Lead the design and implementation of the post-divestiture end-state of Citi Asia in order to eliminate stranded costs**:

- ** Be the central point of contact in finance in relation to monitoring Transition Services Agreements across multiple markets**:

- ** Proven track record in managing large teams and success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environment**:

- ** Strong analytical skills with high proficiency in financial management, budgeting and forecasting, business and strategic planning**:

- ** Practical and solution-oriented, with a commitment to quality and attention to detail**:

- **Ability to build close relationships and engage at all levels in the organization**:
