**Job Purpose**

To evaluate, test, install, administer, and maintain optimal and effective Linux operating system in On-Prem and Cloud Environment.

**Job Responsibilities & Duties**
- In depth knowledge in Linux Server OS administration to install, configures, troubleshooting and maintain by regular patching to ensure system stability and secure.
- As part of a team of infrastructure team to ensure smooth operations that conformed with the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Engineer is expected to provide 24x7 operation support or system implementations arising from system changes, patch updates and security vulnerabilities fixes.
- Assist project Service Delivery Manager (SDM) on managing the day-to-day Project Operations management, and regular projects reporting update to SDM & any other duties as and when assigned.
- Analyze system performance and makes recommendations for optimization.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) level of hands-on knowledge in Linux Operating System, Clustering, Scripting.
- Analyze system performance and makes recommendations for optimization.
- Ensure that the production environment is highly available per the needs of the business and established Service Level Agreements.
- Well versed in security hardening and security fixes and have involved in security VA remediation analysis and execution.
- Lead and establish Root Cause Analysis for all High Severity issues. Work with multiple teams for successful resolution of issues and incidents
- Work with Application Team supporting Service Requests and Change Requests across environments (Production and non-production) such as deployments, and config changes.
- Assist in monthly patch management for all middleware stacks, OS and update documentation of work.
- Keeps abreast of technological advancement, emerging standards and new software or hardware solutions that may affect decisions on systems building or enhancements.
- Update documentation of work.
- Must be able to work in 24 x 7 operations standby support environment

**Minimum Education/Qualifications**
- Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux certification is desired
- VMware certification is desired
- Azure cloud certification is desired

**Minimum Years/Type of Experience**
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in managing Unix and Linux Server platform in skills listed below:
1. Linux OS RedHat, Centos, Ubuntu

2. AWS and Azure public cloud platform

3. Middleware experience would be advantage(Apache, NGINX)

4. RedHat Certification or equivalent certification would be desired.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $5,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month
