**POSITION OVERVIEW**
The Sales Channel Manager will play an extremely important role in leading and managing the successful delivery of Healthcare IT solutions, focussed on maximizing profitability of HIT and increasing HIT solutions transactions and growing the pipeline within South and Southeast Asia Territory.
The Sales Channel Manager will manage the sales operations function, using knowledge of company products, services, support and technology. Success is based on provision of business, clinical and sales support to Canon, the distributors and channel partners in the Territory during the selling cycle; thereby achieving overall HIT budget. This role has significant visibility and is critical to building and engaging both external and internal stakeholder relationships.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide informatics leadership within Canon Group Companies (CGCs) to drive HIT business growth by capitalizing on the value of informatics and HIT products within clinical workflow and sales.
- Operationalize CGCs to be able to optimally deliver HIT solutions and drive business.
- Develop, implement and execute strategic sales plans and programs for designated territory/regions to achieve assigned orders targets and expand pipelines and opportunities.
- Provide sales and channel management leadership for HIT products to the CGC cross functional and sales teams to differentiate and drive growth in HIT sales and upsell.
- Help to drive sales through the distributors and (channel) partners with direct sales support and product knowledge.
- Manage sales by prospecting, qualifying, and closing direct business sales with hospitals and clinics in the designated territory
- Ability to drive successful closure or enterprise transfers of sales engagements.
- Working closely with the Canon Global HIT Division, provide CGCs and distributors with HIT sales/marketing leadership, communication, and escalation with regards to the HIT solutions.
Drive product marketing for HIT solutions in the different markets, and lead the product marketing communication between the global HIT Division, international sales division and the subsidiaries.
- Become knowledgeable on the pricing and pricing strategies of products offered.
- Demonstrate a full grasp of the positioning of HIT products and services as well as the ability to relay this messaging with confidence to the customers.
- Function as the regulatory liaison for HIT division within the region - and drive market-based regulatory strategy and requirements for the different countries.
- Deliver and coordinate regional sales/clinical/technical training as appropriate. Track all sales demonstrations and measure effectiveness.
- Monitor and expand the relationship at the MAB and Collaborative sites we currently have in the Territory.
- Responsible for understanding and satisfying the requirements for obtaining access to a hospital, healthcare system, or other client site
**REQUIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS**
**Experience**:
- 5+ years of sales in medical products, preferable the diagnostic imaging and/or medical IT field.
- International experience and market credibility
- Experience in developing international sales, distribution and clinical relationships.
Mandatory Licenses / Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in an area related to business, computer science and/or medical imaging; experience may be substituted for education
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Knowledge & Skills:
- Senior level industry business leader with proven knowledge and experience of medical informatics delivery
- Sales and marketing leader, with strong business/sales acumen and customer focus values
- Experience in developing strategic relationships at all levels, including interacting comfortably at C-level
- Strong cross functional communication and organizational skills
- Dynamic ability to lead and drive successful closure of large scale informatics sales engagements
- Entrepreneurial drive, track record of initiative, personal accountability and ownership of work to meet goals and objectives.
- Excellent presentation, writing and influence skills
- Drives delivery based on Canon’s mission, vision and core values.
