**Job Description**:
**The Role**

Responsible for all negotiations and administration within the regional ocean freight department for the Asia Export trades. (Intra-Asia Short Sea/ISC/ME/RS/AFR trades). Additional roles including procurement, tender management, working closely with all sales teams to maintain and gain new customers. Working with TGF Agents to build up / grow more business, using TGF Ocean contracts. Assist the Manager/Senior Manager to develop the department competency if necc. Supervise and train junior staff, if any
- Coordinate and obtain ocean rates for tariffs from all ASIAN origins. Support Asian origin Tenders and assist Tender Team procuring rates and providing rates as required.
- Ensure ocean freight tariffs are maintained and accurate. Co-ordination and compiling of statistics and customer for the region.
- Working closely with Tender Management team regarding pricing all Asia export trade lanes. (IA/MERS/ISC/AFR).
- Support IA Trade-lane Sales Team in securing named accounts and basket deals to secure new business.
- Lead Ocean Product pricing strategy responding quickly to market changes and commercial opportunities in conjunction with Global, Regional and National Ocean product management. Visit APAC countries if necessary with Manager/Snr Manager to review local market conditions and agree carrier and pricing strategy.
- Define and determine our Core Carrier Strategy on the APAC Trades and align with our Global Core Carrier strategies. Monitor on a regular basis that 80% of our ASIA Trade volume is supported on our Core carriers as defined

**Qualifications**:
**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Degree/Diploma in any studies
- Ability to work closely with the Business Development Team to deliver tariff information.
- Ability to work closely with service providers (Shipping Lines & Members of the TOLL Group) to update Global Tariffs.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Whatsapp (as communication tool or others to be use within region)
- Experience in maintaining data base
