**Role Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner to lead the development and implementation of a settlement optimization engine for cross-border transfers, with a focus on leveraging bridge currencies, particularly crypto. As the primary contact for this initiative, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our international payment ecosystem.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, for our settlement optimization engine that forecasts and predicts the bridge currency required for cross-border transfers.
- Gather and analyze data on crypto fees, spread, foreign exchange (FX) rates, and other relevant costs to inform the optimization algorithm and enhance the efficiency of the settlement process.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and operations, and business development to ensure the successful implementation of the settlement optimization engine.
- Define and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria based on a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and regulatory considerations.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization within the settlement optimization and algorithm domain.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance, security, and scalability of the product.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the user experience and drive adoption.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the settlement optimization engine, iterating and improving as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to settlement systems, cryptocurrencies, and global payments.
- Leverage concepts such as arbitrage, account for slippage and volatility, market depth and RFQ/RFS.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably in the fintech or cryptocurrency industry (CEX, Web3, FI’s, DeFi etc.) with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex, data-driven products.
- In-depth knowledge of crypto fees, spread, FX rates, and other cost factors associated with cross-border transfers.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and sprint planning.
- Familiarity with settlement systems, global payment infrastructure, and regulatory frameworks in the financial industry is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional certifications in product management/agile and crypto industry is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience required.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
