**Software Product Manager Duties & Responsibilities**
- Serve as product owner in **agile development forums** (daily scrums, iteration planning, and reviews)
- Experience with **agile or scrum-based approach to development** is a must.
- Be the voice of the company to target customers and develop a feedback circle to **test new software-based product **concepts in real customer environments.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve goals and objectives.
- Must have solid **technical management experience** and excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Own product launches end-to-end - working closely with global marketing teams and product management to ensure a successful release.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, dynamic setting.
- Evaluate **Usability and User Experience **across the solution offering.
- Create **User Interface and Design specifications** that serve as requirements for the software development team.
- Work on an ongoing basis with the software development team to ensure that product delivery and quality goals are achieved.
- Support **"cradle to grave"** product life cycle management.
- **Extended language skills and cultural experience** are a huge plus.
- Develops **high-level and detailed project plans **for each project.
- Prior experience in building service-oriented **(SOA) **distributed systems and consuming Platform as a Service **(PAS)** architectures.
- **Research and be knowledgeable about architectures** that can improve product performance and reliability.
- Comfortable in multi-tasking between business and technical activities.

**Qualifications for Software Product Manager**
- Understanding of the software product development process
- **Hands-on experience as a Product Owner or a Project Manager in an agile software production environment (minimum 5 years)**:

- **Ability to work in an agile team that gets things done quickly.**:

- You’re capable of succeeding in a variety of roles, but you know the Product Team is your best fit.
- You place a high importance on positive team dynamics and are comfortable leading cross-functional teams.
- You’re comfortable making, and living with, difficult business decisions.
- **Proven track record of launching new product and software solutions is a must.**
