Lead the identification, design, and scale-up of AI initiatives that deliver tangible business value across the bank. You will work closely with business units to shape the AI opportunity pipeline, translate needs into scalable use cases, and ensure successful adoption in partnership with Digital Delivery and IT teams

**YOUR CHALLENGE**:
**AI Strategy and Use Case Prioritization**
- Contribute to the development of a new Enterprise AI & Data Strategy
- Shape and maintain a bank-wide portfolio of high-impact AI opportunities and use cases
- Partner with business lines to identify pain points and opportunities where AI can drive value

**AI Solution Design & Enablement**
- Translate business needs into clear AI solution designs and business requirements
- Define user stories, success metrics, and adoption criteria
- Ensure AI solutions are not only delivered but embedded into business workflows and processes
- Design business readiness plans, user enablement, and change management strategies
- Track solution adoption, value realization, and user feedback
- Do this in close collaboration and partnership with IT, data science, and analytics teams to co-design solutions and validate prototypes

**Generative & Advanced AI Capability Development**
- Drive exploration and responsible adoption of Generative AI (e.g., copilots, document summarization, client insights)
- Evaluate new AI technologies and tools from a business value lens
- Act as a business product owner to identify and bring new AI capabilities into the bank that can later be transitioned to the delivery teams
- Work closely with Innovation team to understand and evaluate new AI capabilities being developed by external startups and technology companies

**Stakeholder Engagement & Thought Leadership**
- Engage senior stakeholders to gain buy-in and influence adoption
- Evangelize AI solutions through demos, workshops, and internal showcases
- Contribute to external-facing thought leadership and strategic partnerships where relevant

**Supervisory Responsibilities**
- The Head, AI Excellence will lead a global team across multiple Hub locations
- Accountable for the actions of employees under your charge and the conduct of the business under your purview

**Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management**
- Work closely with legal & compliance teams to assess regulatory considerations to bring to life AI solutions for the bank
- Align with the bank’s AI Governance Framework but with the view to explore potential opportunities to streamline and propose means to further make framework more efficient for AI adoption
- Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

**Professional and Technical**
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 8 years of business transformation, product / platform ownership, innovation and delivery experience with a focus on Artificial Intelligence
- Proven experience in deploying to scale advanced AI solutions for financial institution
- Deep understanding of AI/ML capabilities with experience working with GenerativeAI and Large Language Models
- Familiar with client needs in banking (retail, affluent or private banking), as well as banking platforms
- Exposure working with startups, incubators, VCs or similar entrepreneurial roles to evaluate the use of external AI solutions is a plus
