This includes engineering, project management through the pre-construction planning, critical path development, construction / fabrication / site management, commissioning and hand over. It has executed a wide range of major projects involving Marine FPSO Conversion/Process Module Construction related to Oil and Gas Industry, Sub-Sea Products, Semi-Submersibles, Repair of Oil Rigs, Pharmaceutical Process Packages and Power Generation Facilities since its foundation in 1990. **ROLE: HEAD OF DEPARTMENT (PIPING)
Section Head (Piping) is accountable mainly for coordination of relating sections to prepare the construction work procedures, selection of subcontractors, and construction planning, for ensuring all piping works to be completed to meet project schedule, quality and safety requirements.

Section head will be accountable for coordinating with the client, with piping subcontractor(s), and sections of other work categories (Civil, Structure, Instrument, Electrical, Insulation, Painting, Mechanical and, QA/QC, etc.)

**RESPONSIBILITIES
- Action for commencement of work, coordinating with Client, other disciplines and Subcontractors under the direction by Project Manager/ production manager.
- Responsible to review and study of project requirement
- Inspection Test Plan (ITP)
- Project / Construction Schedule
- Project Specification and drawing
- Welding Requirement
- Safety Procedure
- Attend periodical meeting with client, subcontractor, Construction Manager, other
- Discipline for the construction schedule and progress.
- Initiate to revise the construction schedule, if required, due to the slippage of schedule and/or progress of work due by various reasons.
- Direct subcontractors and monitor on the matter of
- Control procedure and status report of material supplied.
- Productivity, actual progress and resource mobilization (workforce, construction equipment and tools) to meet with construction plan schedule.
- Execution plan, procedures, schedule and progress.
- Monitor of weekly / monthly plan progress.
- Safety work performance and weekly safety inspection.
- Quality control, inspection schedule and action of non-conformance work.
- Schedule control and overall progress.
- Evaluation of Job Confirmation Sheet (JCS) and Site Instruction (SI) submitted by Engineering Coordinator / Piping Engineer.
- Responsible to oversee department function.
- Instruction of documents to be used and followed.
- Reporting of work status to management.
- Monitor / review piping staffs' performance

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Marine or equivalent)
- Minimum 11 years of relevant work experience in Marine & Offshore fabrication for Oil & Gas Industry
- Prior work experience in heading a technical department
- Good leadership skills to manage and develop a team
- **Language Proficiencies: English **& CHINESE SPEAKING to communicate with the Chinese stakeholders, vendors, workers.**
