**Responsibilities**:
**The Compliance Director, APAC Regulatory Policy and Governance will report to IBKR's APAC General Counsel and Director of Compliance and functionally to IBKR's Regional Chief Regulatory Counsel.

The Compliance Director, APAC Regulatory Policy and Governance will be responsible for leading IBKR's efforts to implement and maintain best-practice governance practices across our APAC operations. In particular,
- Drafting and implementing firm policies and written supervisory procedures;
- Working with regional compliance officers to ensure that all artefacts are updated in accordance with the applicable schedule;
- Designing procedures for complying with regulatory, self-regulatory and exchange requirements for all regulated activities;
- Chair and minute regional compliance committee meetings, client acceptance committee meetings and other regional Compliance forums;
- Support regional compliance management in the identification, analysis and implementation of regulatory change;
- Identify and monitor new and emerging regulatory and conduct risks and impacts on the firm; and
- Support regional compliance management in managing Compliance's responsibilities for relevant Committees, and other meetings, ensuring appropriate information is tabled in a timely manner, including compliance monitoring and testing results and breaches, as required.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**:

- University qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Familiarity with the regulatory process, rules and codes in one or more of Australia, Hong Kong, or Singapore;
- Proven experience and track record at a financial services regulatory agency, exchange or licensed financial services firm;
- Self-starter with strong analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment;
- Comfort with computers and technology, and understanding of how technology is applied to business and regulatory problems.
- Good Microsoft office skills (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a small-team environment and to work independently and to multi-task with mínimal supervision.
- A "can do" attitude with a willingness to learn.

**Location of Employment**
