We are looking for an experienced individual to join us as Infrastructure Engineer (Middleware) This position comes with a 3-year rolling contract employment.

**A brief summary of your job responsibilities**:

- Responsible for providing technical services to support environment provisioning, software integration and projects from deployment planning, setup & testing, pre-production readiness to production cutover;
- Hands-on experience on Middleware technologies such as Webserver Apache, IIS, WebLogic, JAVA &.NET based Application server, SSO server, Scheduling and Enterprise Backup;
- Responsible for software upgrades and patching ensuring that the platforms are performing to their potential & meet security compliance;
- Collaborate with Cyber Security and identify solutions for remediation of vulnerabilities in the web and middleware infrastructure;
- Developing and maintaining infrastructure/process logs, documentation, process metrics and capacity trending will be part of the daily activities;
- Participate in 24/7 support by acting as an escalation point for any production issues;
- Responsible for monitoring and optimizing the performance of middleware systems. This may involve diagnosing and resolving issues related to scalability, throughput, latency, and overall system efficiency.
- Work closely with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical support;
- Stay current with trends and incorporate emerging technology to benefit the platform for on premise and cloud solutions;
**Requirements**:
**To succeed in this role, you will ideally have**:

- At least 3-5 years of Middleware support experience, preferably in large scale government projects;
- Strong understanding of High availability architectures. Hands-on experience in Clustering, Load Balancing and failover management;
- Work under mínimal supervision and take ownership of middleware incidents end to end
- A good working knowledge in UNIX-platform based Web-App administration is a must;
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and team management skills.
