Conduct engineering work process for instrumentation, control, automation and information system of projects
- Perform design work for I&C, automation system, including system integration, logic control, P&ID, design calculations, functional description, design technical specification, estimation, IT system integration and related documents in compliance with specification requirements & related code of practice
- Incorporate instrumentation and control systems, IT package and review related design documents including P&ID, protection and layout and IT infrastructure (including cybersecurity) to achieve plants’ integration and functional objectives
- Evaluate and manage equipment package and ensure technical compliance from suppliers and vendors
- Prepare technical submissions of proposal including design drawings, layout and interface points requirement
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, consultants, vendors, contractors and customers
- Support the commercial team in managing equipment package execution, identifying gaps between technical and contractual requirements
- Coordinate on-site activities assigned during project execution and commissioning work.
- Attend meetings or discussions as required
- Prepare reports as required
- Any tasks or jobs assigned by Management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree/ Diploma in Instrumentation, Control and Automation, Chemical, Electronics, Electrical, IT or equivalent
- Preferably 5 years of engineering experience after tertiary education and minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in design, construction or operations of process, automation or power industries
- Related working experience in waste-to-energy, thermal power plants and/or process industries will be an advantage
- Knowledge in engineering, planning and design software
- Experience in project management will be an advantage
