**What the role is**

You will be part of the team involved in the development and implementation of the next 5-year plan for the arts sector, as well as driving organisation excellence in NAC. The work ranges from policy development and review, corporate planning, performance tracking, to secretariat duties. You will play a vital role in facilitating engagement with internal and external stakeholders, to achieve alignment and smooth implementation of NAC’s work.

**What you will be working on**

1. Identify emerging trends, assess implications on the arts landscape in Singapore, and recommend policies and programme interventions.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to align strategic priorities, formulate strategic plans, and track performance indicators and targets as part of the planning and budget cycle.
3. Monitor and report progress of strategic plans, organisational performance and risk indicators. This includes collation and analysis of data, and preparation of reports for management, NAC Board and the parent-Ministry.
4. Organise corporate planning events such as staff conference, management and Board retreats, and conceptualise meaningful messages for stakeholder engagement.
5. Perform secretariat duties for key meetings and support senior management on strategic decisions.

**What we are looking for**
- Inquisitive mind, strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong relationship management and organisational planning skills
- Adept at working with numbers and good knowledge of Excel.
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau) would be an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to deliver presentations and facilitate meetings.
- Team player who is proactive, independent and reliable to drive projects forward
- Preferably at least 2 years of relevant work experience in public policy, business, economics, social sciences or related fields
