IT Operations manages the IT infrastructure and supporting services that are critical for HSBC employees and customers, such as cost-efficient hardware, system software, middleware and databases, data centres, voice and data networks, ATMs, desktops and other devices.

The area comprises five functions: Client Services, Enterprise Services and Architecture, Data Centre and Service Management, Relationship Management, Project Management and Risk and Administration. Collectively, these areas define and deliver HSBC’s technology strategy to support the Group’s goals.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Sub-Value Stream Technology Lead.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- The SVS Technology Lead owns technology delivery within a sub value stream as part of the three-in-a-box SVS leadership structure. The SVS tech lead takes charge of delivery using an Agile approach through prioritisation of technology work within sub value streams and the assignment of technology resources in support of the defined outcomes
- The SVS tech lead defines the SVS’s strategic technology agenda, drives technology innovation, and bridges the alignment between IT and Business

- At least 8 years professional IT large scale delivery experience, with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a global financial institution
- At least 3 years in an agile environment
- Strong stakeholder management, influencer and communications skills
- Able to establish and maintain strong relationships and have significant experience in influencing and collaborating with others to move towards a common outcome
- Proven team management and strategic leadership experience at senior level
- Demonstrates skills in leading IT resources in fulfilling complex business process requirements
- Strong experience in the implementation management, and maintenance of information technology products
- Program management experience including timeline planning, risk management, resource allocation and budget controls
- Successful lead a major strategically IT program
- Demonstrate strong communication skills across a matrix organization: levels of management and geographies
- Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, manage competing agendas and priorities, and translate complex information across internal and external teams
- Familiarity with working in a complex, international environment
- Familiarity with outsourced service models and offshoring
- Key understanding of retail wealth and private banking business in Singapore
