Singapore NTU (Nanyang Technology University- Main Office-HR) Full time

**Temporary Research Fellow at Assoc Prof Yen Choo's lab at LKCMedicine.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and construct synthetic gene circuits for lineage control in iPSCs
- Conduct experiments to optimize differentiation protocols for generating beta cells
- Characterize the functionality and stability of engineered beta cells using molecular and functional assays
- Collaborate with team members to integrate synthetic gene circuits into larger regulatory networks
- Analyze experimental data and contribute to scientific publications and presentations
- Stay current with the latest developments in stem cell biology, gene editing technologies, and synthetic biology

**Qualifications**:

- Ph.D. or equivalent degree in molecular biology, bioengineering, stem cell biology, or a related field
- Must have prior hands-on experience with standard molecular biology techniques including cloning, PCR, qRT-PCR, Western blots and mammalian cell culture Experience with stem cell culture and differentiation protocols, particularly with iPSCs
- Experience with multiparametric flow cytometry.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and problem-solve creatively
