**Job Summary**:
This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of production within the distribution area. This includes assembly, test, loading of customer-specific software, packaging, inventory control, shipping, and any other tasks required to meet production targets.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that all applicable processes and procedures are followed during the entire order building process
- Load customer-specific software on vision systems, barcode readers and industrial PCs, etc.
- Use production orders to select the correct material and quantities to build customer kits and validate those kits against the appropriate production orders
- Place material into the correct stocking location / pull material from the correct location
- Use delivery pick lists to accurately pick sales order material and quantities for processing
- Ad hoc duties as instructed by the supervisor

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- High energy, self-motivated individual capable of performing order picking, system configuration, assembly, inspection, and kitting functions on customer orders
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to always maintain an elevated level of housekeeping and inventory accuracy
- Available to work overtime as needed

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred

**Physical Requirements**:

- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift 23 kg (50 pounds) at times.
